High Intensity Focused Ultrasound – neocollagenesis through last minute non-invasive treatment

High Intensity Focused Ultrasounds (HIFU) are delivered in the tegument, as well as on the level of the SMAS (Superficial Muscular Aponeurosis System), in the form of fasces, generating an increased temperature in the deep dermis and fibrous tissue. When the temperature surpasses 47 °C (the temperature at which proteins are denatured) the coagulation zone is generated. The affected area is filled with the near tissues and muscles, which causes an increase in the skin’s elasticity and the vanishing of wrinkles.

Focus and accuracy

The Microson HIFU is a unique system that assures different depths for facial treatments and one specific depth for body treatments.

SD7 – 1.5 mm

Decreasing of wrinkles through the promotion of neocollagenesis in the superior dermal layers and TCP in the layers rich in collagen until a depth of 1.5mm

DD7 – 3.0mm

Facial lifting and collagen regeneration through the creation of TCP (Thermal Coagulation Points) in the deep dermis (3.0mm).

SM4 – 4.5mm

Non-invasive facial lifting through the production of TCP in the SMAS. SMAS covers the facial musculature and is approximately at a 4.5 mm depth in the subcutaneous layer. SMAS is made of collagen and elastic fibers and has the role of transmitting muscle contractions towards the facial surface.

SC4 – 13mm

Fat reduction through HIFU treatments in the area of the glutes and abdominals. The increase in temperature of the adipose layer can lead to it’s reduction due to the necrotic coagulation of the adipocytes at a temperature of 56 ºC or above.
